We have a very limited number of tickets that have become available at the last minute for a few of the forthcoming shows which were previously sold out. They will go quickly, details are as follows:

6th April - Newcastle O2 Academy - 2 standing tickets
8th April - Sheffield O2 Academy - 2 standing tickets
10th April - Cambridge Corn Exchange - 3 seated tickets (Row BB, seats 16, 17, 18)
17th April - Liverpool University - 1 standing ticket

Mirrorball Tour support announced

We can now reveal that the band will be supported in Southend and Bournemouth by James Walsh, from the band Starsailor. James is presently working on his first solo record, and has recently been playing some low-key dates round the UK and Europe. There are still a few tickets for these two shows only from other ticketing agents, please see our live page for links.

For all other dates, the Glasgow-based four piece Unkle Bob will be opening the show. Unkle Bob have just put the finishing touches on their second album, and have three tracks from it streaming on their website at the moment if you'd like to check them out.

UK summer festival round-up

The band will be headlining two festivals in the UK this summer - Solfest in Cumbria on 28th August, and Beautiful Days down in sunny Devon on 21st August - as well as appearing at Latitude Festival for the first time on 17th July, where they'll be playing alongside some excellent bands including Belle & Sebastian, Jónsi from Sigur Rós, Grizzly Bear, Florence + the Machine, Laura Marling, and Rodrigo y Gabriela, with many more exciting names still to be announced.

They will also, as previously announced, also be headlining the Big Top at the Isle of Wight in June.

Κυκλοφορούν τα εισιτήρια των James

Την 1η Μαϊου οι James επιστρέφουν μετά από 2 χρόνια στην Αθήνα για μια και μοναδική εμφάνιση στο Κλειστό Φαλήρου – Γήπεδο TaeKwonDo. Στην συναυλία οι James θα ερμηνεύσουν όλες τις μεγάλες επιτυχίες τους, καθώς και κομμάτια από το νέο mini album τους “The Night Before”, το οποίο θα κυκλοφορήσει τον Απρίλιο.

Πέρυσι κατάφεραν να γεμίσουν για 3 συνεχόμενες ημέρες το Θέατρο Γης στην Θεσσαλονίκη, κάτι που δεν έχει ξαναγίνει ποτέ στο παρελθόν! Αν προστεούν και οι 2 εμφανίσεις τους στην Αθήνα (το 2007 στο Fly Beeond Festival και το 2008 στο EJEKT Festival), το συγκρότημα έχει κατορθώσει να κόψει περίπου 50.000 εισιτήρια μέσα σε 3 χρόνια στις εμφανίσεις του στην Ελλάδα.

Σε συνδυασμό με τις δεκάδες χιλιάδες δίσκους που έχουν πουλήσει διαχρονικά στην χώρα μας, αλλά και την λατρεία που έχουν μαζί τους οι ραδιοφωνικοί σταθμοί μας, η σχέση του ελληνικού κοινού με τους James είναι ένα πραγματικό φαινόμενο: άλλωστε, ο τελευταίος δίσκος τους “Ηey Ma” κυκλοφόρησε στην Ελλάδα μια εβδομάδα νωρίτερα από τον υπόλοιπο κόσμο!

Greek Dates Announced - Tickets on Sale 10th March

Just a quick note to let you all know that the band will be playing two shows in Greece in the Spring. If you live locally, or fancy a trip for a show and (hopefully) a bit of sunshine, come and join us:

Friday 30th April - Patras Old Theatre, Patras, Greece
Saturday 1st May - Tae Kwon Do Arena, Athens, Greece

Tickets will be 30 Euro (standing) and 35 Euro (seated) in Patras, and 40 Euro (standing) and 50 Euro (seated) for Athens.

Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 10th March 2010, and will be available from the following outlets:

Στην Αθήνα οι James!

Αναμενόμενο, μετά το περυσινό θρίαμβο στη Θεσσαλονίκη με 3 shows στην Θεσσαλονίκη, οι James φέτος επιστρέφουν στην Ελλάδα για 2 συναυλίες, μία στην Αθήνα για πολλοστή φορά, και μία στη Πάτρα. Η συναυλία της Αθήνας θα γίνει στο Κλειστό Φαλήρου - Γήπεδο Tae Kwon Do την Πρωτομαγιά, ενώ αυτή της Πάτρας μία μέρα νωρίτερα. Παρακάτω το αρχικό δελτίο τύπου, ενώ σε άλλα σχετικά νέα, οι James θα κυκλοφορήσουν τον Απρίλιο ένα νέο mini album που θα περιέχει 6 τραγούδια και θα έχει τίτλο "The Night Before"...
